Often we have design discussions that end up in 'what if' debates. We must design it in a way that... because 'what if...'.


What if we just stop the discussion? Design for today, code today and wait for what happens tomorrow. If we do that, we only have to adjust for the reality of tomorrow, not for the numerous 'what if's' of today. You do the math, what is cheaper?
